Our new city logo pays homage to Akron’s roots as the Rubber Capital of the World and the thousands of dedicated workers who powered the industry. The logo prominently displays an outline of the Rubber Worker statue, as well as ‘AKRON’ in bold letters, encapsulated in a chevron shape.
